Marco Stefanelli (of Marco’s Ristorante in Peabody MA) and Fortunato Conte, both from Italy and both landed in Boston Massachusetts several years back to accomplish their dream.

After many years of experience throughout the Boston area, they met and immediately decided to start a new project together.

Fortunato Conte is an accomplished pastry chef from Salerno, Italy. During his career Fortunato worked at some of the top Pastry Shops in Salerno but also gaining great experiences while traveling throughout Italy. Landed in Boston Massachusetts in 1998 and worked at some of the best Italian bakeries in the city and inspired many with his passion for baking.

Italian Bake Shop Caffe’ is meant to be a piece of Italy in Winthrop Massachusetts, inspired by their passion for Italian ingredients and flavors both savory and sweet.
